As you may know, I am a writer in Brooklyn and have been a member of Artist Conference Network (ACN) since 2009. Believe me, I would never do anything that long if it didn’t work — extraordinarily!
ACN coaching continues to deepen my relationship with my work, resulting in an enriching and constantly renewed creative process. It has empowered how I speak about my work and how others receive my work.
The best part is that ACN coaching always holds the artist as the authority in her/his work. Never does the coaching meddle in or critique the artist or the work. We do not try to fix or improve one another.
ACN members get results. A remarkable, definitely unique, goal-setting process sets me up to manifest my goals and beyond. The weekly breakthrough coaching with my coaching partner keeps my momentum going and the creative juices flowing by transforming breakdowns (an interruption in my commitment) into breakthroughs.
One of the best ways to experience ACN coaching is by attending a quarterly Completion Meeting. We invite guests (non-members) to celebrate with us as we conclude our goal period. I hope you can join us at our upcoming Completion Meeting on Thursday, April 19th, at 7 PM. It will be held at 190 Marlborough Road, Brooklyn (Beverly Road stop on the Q train). RSVP: by email or 718-826-1261.
Participation in this coaching process begins with a Conference Weekend when we learn to coach in the areas of Distinctions in Speaking, Visions, Goals, Coaching for Breakthroughs and Coaching for the Creative Process (Sharing Work).
The upcoming New York ACN Weekend is May 5-6th. The weekend will be led by Marianne Connor, an award winning screenplay writer. Marianne is a master coach, long time member of ACN, and member of the ACN Board of Directors. The Conference fee is $345 which includes the weekend and a year’s participation, group meetings, partnership coaching, posting your work on the ACN Gallery blog and more.
If you are interested in accelerating focus and momentum in your creative work, we invite you to join our network. No matter what your creative discipline is, ACN works remarkably well, especially if you are embarking on a specific project.
Our New York group is one of the most experienced ACN groups, known for its rigor, results and fun. For more about ACN, visit www.artistconference.net, or contact Karen Friedland (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Amirh Bahati (email@example.com), co-leaders of the New York Group, for information and details about the upcoming weekend.
ACN is a mutual benefit nonprofit corporation.
“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy,
a quickening that is translated through you
into action and because there is only one of
you in all of time, this expression is unique.
And if you block it, it will never exist through
any other medium and be lost.”
